Omega Timekeepers Precision in Stop Watches and Cosc Watches

Omega watches were established in 1848 by Louis Brandt. The watches were made with the purpose to surpass others in high precision timing. His two sons took over the firm after his decease and made their own in-house inventing system. They focused strongly on producing their own calibers.

When his two sons took over the firm in 1903, the oldest son, Paul Emile-Brandt, took over the firm at his age of 24. He was at the time in charge of 800 employees and managed to take the firm to a even higher level in the watch industry.

Omega made an important companionship with the Olympic society and was the first watch firm to the the official timekeeper in La in 1931. The next big leap was in 1935 when Nasa favorite their Speedmaster professional to be worn by cosmonauts in space. The first Speedmaster in space was worn by spaceman Edward White.

Then in 1969, the first cosmonauts, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, used their Omega watches to land on the moon. Someone else test for the watch firm was when the Apollo 13 space car had an explosion of their assistance module in 1970. The spacemen had to fly back their craft with no power supply and limited oxygen provision. Their ability to re-enter earth's climate was done with the use of Speedmaster watches that helped them earn the Snoopy Award, a high recompense given by astronauts to their providers.

The watch is today still a part of Omega's variety and has become a first-rate watch known straight through generations.
