The only reason I'm uploading the recorded fight is back when I was about to enter Central Apollyon for the first time, I could simply not find any decent videos around to study. Hopefully this will help new shells looking into doing this fight prep better and be aware of what it really is like (Wikipedia is nice and all but.. you know what I mean. Text =/= Video). Our linkshell has made a habit of wearing him down to 1-5% and kiting while farming pods until time is almost up. The drops from pods weren't amazing in this fight, but we have previously managed to obtain 3 Apollyon chips on one fight. I would say one of the most important things in the fight is to have both tanks generate about the same amout of enmity so they can easily pull it off each other when shadows go down. Proto-Omega has enhanced movement speed, and will catch up to you even if you're using movement+ equipment (I wasn't quite sure of it, but it is clearly visible in the video; he constantly eats my shadows even though I'm using Crimson Cuisses). And incase you were wondering, I don't engage for the simple reason that he can counter and mess up shadows with recasts. First part out of three.
