In celebration of the 50 years of James Bond, Omega has released a new special edition timepiece - the Omega James Bond 007 Seamster 50th Anniversary. James Bond has worn a Seamaster in every 007 film since GoldeEye. The watch also features a case back in the form of a gun barrel, a reference to Bond's signature Walther PPK pistol and is inscribed with 50 years of James Bond. The 007 Seamaster will come in two sizes, 41 mm and 36.25 mm. The cases are in stainless steel and feature ceramic bezel rings with diving scales in matter chromium nitride with the number "50" in red to symbolize the anniversary. Some of fhe nemes are piaget, omega, ebel, rado, longines, mido, oris, maurice lacriox, fedrique constant, tag heuer, techno marine, raymond weil, jacquet droz, zenith, titoni, christ, vogue, movado, bucherer, casio, citizen, Girard-Perregaux, Revue Thommen, and etc. Some are really old and some are quit new, the ages are range 1920 to 2010. One of the watch case is made with 14K solid gold, which runs fast, which a problem in balance spring. Other wise almost all run good. Most of them are swiss made apart from casio citizen and techno marine.

We were a bit early so Juan and I bothered the Omega store that was next door. The Omega Seamaster is my ultimate dream watch, so if you are ever feeling kind enough you know what you can buy me :D The tour itself is very short, but interesting nonetheless. The best part is you get to eat as much chocolate as you like or as much as you can. Seriously though, don't hold back any chocolate temptations you may have because they just give it all away during the tour. At the end you get to use the 10 CHF for a gift inside their store or for some chocolate. We were stuffed with chocolate so Melissa and I gave Juan our gift tokens and he bought a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife...in Switzerland, where else, right?

If you're a watch enthusiast or or are just planning to purchase your first Swiss made watch, the Caribbean is an excellent place to do so! Because of the duty-free shopping (AKA no sales tax), there are an abundance of great deals. I'm a watch collector and this video contains my opinions and advice for making that purchase. I've traveled all over the Caribbean and Mexico and Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas is most definitely the best place to buy a Swiss timepiece in my opinion! There are Breitling and Cartier stores as well as an abundance of authorized dealers that carry Omega, Breitling, Cartier, Rolex and brands of higher and lower end. I had a great experience doing business with Little Switzerland. It's located right alongside the waterfront in Charlotte Amalie (right next to the building that says "Rolex"). I strongly recommend doing a Google search to obtain the current year price sheet for the watch brand(s) of your choice. This way you'll have a good idea of what the watch is currently selling for in the United States and will know whether or not which watch(es) in the authorized dealer are the best bargain. Be sure to deal with authorized dealers only and be sure to obtain the box and all papers with the watch. Otherwise, the manufacturer will likely not service your watch, if you ever have to send it in for maintenance, repair, etc. Everyone has different tastes but I will say that the Omega and Breitling watches were the best deals in Charlotte Amalie.
